This Privacy Policy explains how Empactify, LLC (“Empactify,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information when you use our websites (including Empactify.org), programs, courses, mentorship, events, communities, and related services (collectively, the “Services”).

By using the Services, you agree to this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

Account & profile: name, email, password, photo, biography, social handles, timezone

Program data: applications, assessments, assignments, survey responses, mentorship notes, preferences

Communications: messages, support requests, feedback, testimonials

Events & recordings: attendance, chat, Q&A; we may record audio/video/screens for quality, learning, and community resources

Payments: billing details and transaction records processed by our payment processors (we do not store full card numbers)

Applications: resume/CV, LinkedIn, portfolio, availability

Phone number and messaging preferences: including your opt-in/opt-out status for SMS

b) Information we collect automatically

Usage & device data: IP address, device identifiers, browser type, settings, pages visited, referring/exit pages, timestamps, approximate location (city/region), interaction data (clicks/scrolls)

Partners & platforms that refer you to Empactify

a) How you opt in

You may opt in to receive SMS messages from Empactify by submitting your phone number through an Empactify web form (for example, workshop registration, consultation request, or educational resource access) and affirmatively consenting via a checkbox or other explicit consent mechanism.

b) What texts we may send

Depending on what you opt in to receive, messages may include:

Workshop/webinar confirmations and reminders

Educational resources and follow-up guidance

Law enforcement/regulators where required by law or to protect rights, safety, and integrity

We do not sell personal information for money. Where “sell” or “share” is defined to include cross-context behavioral advertising (e.g., under California CPRA), we either do not engage in such activity or we provide an opt-out where required.


8) AI and automated tools

We may use trusted AI-enabled tools (e.g., transcription, summarization, content moderation, tutoring aids) to operate and improve the Services. When we do:

Vendors act as processors under contract and are prohibited from using your data to train models for others

Account and program records: while your account is active and for a reasonable period after closure

Event recordings and coursework: for learning resources and quality assurance unless you request removal where feasible

SMS consent records: for as long as needed to demonstrate compliance and honor your preferences


10) Your rights & choices

US residents (including CA/CO/CT/UT/VA and similar laws)

Content you post in public or cohort spaces (forums, chats, showcases) may be visible to others. Please do not share sensitive personal information in public areas. You can request we remove your public content where feasible; copies may remain in backups or where retention is required by law.
